She has graduated from the Kharkov engineering economic institute, speciality “Economics and organization of industry”, qualification engineer-economist (1978).

Worked as: senior research worker of scientifically-experimental sector of the Kharkov engineering economic institute (1983-1984), associate professor of the social sciences department of the Kharkov pharmaceutical institute (1984-1995); associate professor of the Industrial pharmacy economics department (1995-1998); since 1998 – head of the Industrial pharmacy economics department, which in the same year was renamed in the Economics of enterprise department. Since 2008 the department was renamed in the Management and economics of enterprise department. She defended thesis for scientific degree of the candidate of economic sciences in 1983, since 1988 – associate professor. In 2003 Posilkina Olga Viktorovna defended the thesis for the scientific degree of Doctor of Pharmacy on the topic “Innovation – investment development of pharmaceutical manufacture and the problems of its financial providing”, since 2004 – professor.

Educational work. Posilkina Olga Viktorovna is an author over than 1400 scientific and methodical papers, among them: 11 monographs, 4 textbooks recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine, 62 study guides; encyclopedic glossary of pharmaceutical terms; 10 typical academic programmes; 343 methodical recommendations; 86 scientific and methodological recommendations approved by the PC “Pharmacy” of the Ministry of Health and Science of Ukraine and agreed by Ukrmedpatentinform, 2 informative letters; about 500 scientific articles, among them more than 60 – in foreign publications; 1 patent; 60 certificates of copyright law; the author of 43 innovations introduced in the branch register of innovations Ukrmedpatentinform.

Public activity:

Professor Posilkina O.V. is chief editor of the journal “Management, economics and quality assurance in pharmacy”, member of editorial boards of scientific journals “Pharmaceutical review”, “Social Pharmacy”, “Recipe” (Republic of Belarus). Since 2008 she is a member of the specialized academic council D 64. 605 01 at NUPh; and from 2016 – the academic secretary of this specialized academic council, she was a member of the specialized academic council D 17.600.03 Zaporozhian state medical university (2011-2015). She is a member of the board of the faculty of industrial pharmacy, management and administration, a member of public organization «Kharkiv Regional Association of Pharmaceutical Workers», member of the regional primary link of the Ukrainian Logistics Association; Member of the Ukrainian Society for Pharmacoeconomic Research.
