Since 1999, according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On the Environment Day” of August 6, 1998 No. 855/98, on the third Saturday of April, Ukraine annually marks the All-Ukrainian Environment Day in support of the initiative of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Nuclear Safety of Ukraine and the public nature of Ukraine organizations for the development of activities started by the All-Ukrainian campaign “Tree-Life”.

The purpose of this holiday is to draw public attention to the environmental problems of the state, to encourage as many people as possible to take active actions to prevent the burden on natural ecosystems from reaching their critical point.

On this day it is necessary to join with actions and active civic position to carry out activities for improvement of the environment. Please do not be indifferent to this day either!
